Problem Statement

Most people don't review their finances every day — not because they don’t care, but because it often feels overwhelming or unclear. Spending is automatic. Notifications blur together. End-of-month statements are too late. This leads to anxiety, guilt, and a feeling of being out of control — even when spending is “normal.”

Goal

To create a feature that help users:

  • Understand how much they’re spending

  • See the difference between income and expenses

  • Get simple, reassuring advice without judgment

🧠 Reflections on Designing with AI

🧠 Reflections on Designing with AI

Working on this project gave me a clear perspective on how AI can support — not replace — the creative design process. With the right prompts, I was able to research faster, generate relevant ideas, map user flows, and even create initial UI drafts more efficiently than ever.

But the role of a designer doesn’t disappear — it evolves. My job was to curate the insights, refine the outputs, and enhance the designs beyond what AI alone could produce. In that sense, AI became a creative partner: speeding up the process while allowing me to focus more on quality, emotion, and user empathy.

For me, this experiment proves that AI doesn’t take over the design process — it empowers it.
