Raffles Connect - Healthcare Platform

A project was undertaken to assist Raffles Medical Group, the largest private hospital in Singapore, in enhancing their Raffles Connect app. This app is designed to make healthcare services more accessible by allowing users to easily schedule health screenings, book vaccinations, view personal health records, and consult with doctors via video. The objective of the project was to design an optimized purchase flow for the health screening service, based on user interview and usability test.

Problem Statement

Despite the popularity of health screenings among businesses and consumers in Singapore, the number of health screening packages purchased through the app is currently low compared to the Raffles Health Store, where they are a top-selling category with 6,800 screenings sold annually, generating S$3.5M in revenue.

Goal

Our goal is to enhance the user experience design of health screening services on the Raffles Connect app to increase user satisfaction and, consequently, boost the number of health screening package purchases. By leveraging UX research, we aim to understand user pain points, improve usability, and optimize the user journey within the app.

Findings

  1. Users need to spend a lot of time to do research to choose a suitable health screening package

  2. Users find it difficult to call in different clinics to check availability and book an appointment

Solutions

  1. Create a questionnaire / quiz that give result and recommends customers to select an appropriate Health Screening package

  2. Users can view a package and check availability to book right from our app
